Lis Wiehl (born on 19th August 1959) is an American writer and an ex-legal analyst at Fox News.
She is an adjunct law professor at New York Law School. Before that, she worked as an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She also has provided legal commentary on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual and National Public Radio. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight The Imus morning show and is the host of her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. Her birthplace was in Yakima. She is a graduate of an undergraduate degree in Arts at Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) in addition to a JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as an attorney at the US Attorney's Office. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues on the NPR program All Things Considered. She worked as the assistant chief investigator counsel to Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She was a professor of law and tenure at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. Between 2001 and 2017, Wiehl worked as an analyst in the field of law for Fox News.
